University of Cincinnati College of Law’s Story
Project Summary
(Project in Process)
Bachmeyer Press collaborated with UC College of Law’s marketing department to listen, capture, create, and scale their stories for use as social media posts, films, and feature articles. We uncovered personal stories of impact from law students, with a focus on finding stories from a diverse range of students in both background and interest in the pursuit of justice.
Desire
As one of the nation’s top social justice law schools, UC College of Law wanted to tell stories that might impress a diverse pool of prospective students by highlighting the College’s excellence and broad opportunity to pursue “Justice for All,” so these students will want to enroll.
Motivation
To bring together a richer community of learning together at UC College of Law so that its classrooms might reflect the real world.
Roadblock
There is a dearth of lawyers from diverse backgrounds in the US, and the legal profession remains one of the least diverse of any profession in the country.

“A job at a big law firm is definitely not given away. It’s not easy to get...I'd been playing football for a long time. That's what I did. I trained my whole life in athletics, and now it’s like… am I good enough to make it? It was scary.”
